The Open Source for America (OSfA) organization has now grown to over 1200 members and continues to grow momentum. In order to continue to grow Open Source in the Public Sector, there is a tremendous amount of work to be done and this Marketing Committee is just the place to help get this work started.

This group is responsible for the following:
	Membership growth
Collateral to support the OSfA efforts
			White papers
			Case Studies
			Podcasts
			Presentation materials
			Blogs
Generating mindshare in the public sector space around open source
Contributed articles in publications that focus on public sector
Speaking engagements at public sector events
			Public sector event participation
	Open Source for America Newsletter

As you can see there is a long list of activities for this group to get engaged on and the time is now to get started. Brock Edmiston and Deb Woods are the co-chairs for this committee and we would like to host the first call to kick off a busy 2010 year of activities. Take a look at the list, feel free to email us with other ideas that would be of interest and let us know which activities you would like to work on.

Please join us this Thursday (Jan 28) at 4pm ET (1.866.469.3239 passcode 34155412) as we kick off the new year with lots of exciting challenges.

Kind Regards,
Brock Edmiston
Deb Woods
