[infrastructure] voting

Hi,

i just tried to vote and got to 
http://osfa.ideascale.com/a/rpxAuthentication.do

The site requires information about me beyond email information and does 
not tell you what it will ask for but asks your permission to get the 
information anyway; if you say no, it will not let you vote. 

I worry that folks will not vote if they have to give up personal 
information this way. This is too hard; like voice mail hell,  and we 
won't get people to come back if they get turned away at the gate to 
start with.  Will you test it and see if this is only me or if this is a 
general problem.
