Hi,

Following Kevin's lead I will introduce myself. I am a systems and
network guy thats worked at both open source and proprietary shops. Am
now a small family alpaca/horse rancher with a side job of consulting
locally. In the past I have worked around a couple of Oregon school
districts (integrating open source w/ proprietary software) and would
love nothing more than to see more open source applications take hold
in Oregon and nation wide (/me thinks Moodle is great software). I am
also a parent with a 2.5 year old son. I really would like to see the
ideas that are put forth here and to possibly become part of something
that takes hold for the good of the community as well as our nation.
